Payment Information

Clear payment terms for Liya Trails & Tours bookings, including deposits, balances, currencies and accepted payment methods.

1. Booking Deposit

A booking normally requires a 50% deposit of the confirmed trip price to secure the reservation, unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing.

2. Balance Payment

The remaining balance is normally due 1 day before the safari or excursion, unless the confirmed booking states otherwise.

3. Base Currency

Our website uses USD (US Dollar) as the base currency. When another currency is selected, the displayed amount may be calculated using a live exchange rate. The final amount charged by a payment provider or bank may differ slightly because of provider exchange rates, card issuer rates, settlement timing or bank charges.

4. Payment Methods

Depending on availability and booking arrangements, we may accept M-Pesa, bank transfer and card or supported digital-wallet payments such as Google Pay, Apple Pay or Samsung Pay.

5. Processing Fees

Where our quoted booking terms state that the customer does not pay a processing fee, we will not add a separate processing fee to the quoted trip price. Any fees imposed independently by a customer's bank, card issuer or payment provider remain outside our control.

6. Payment Confirmation

A booking is considered secured only after the required payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed by Liya Trails & Tours.
